I took my 6* R1 Proxima into 5.3.6, the Ronan on top path. Brought my 5* guardian as they did
I took 93 parry damage. My Proxima has 22,850 health
If OP really is the god tier player they appear to believe they are and don’t take any unparried blocks or hits, they can do 245 parries before they die
To test it even further I did the fight and counted the parried it took for me to reach 3 bars of power and my 3 missions completed. I used 9 parries
Let’s say that’s how many parties you do per fight, that would allow you to do 27 fights on the path. Each path has around 11-12 fights per path. Let’s take the higher estimate of 12 fights.
You can still do 20 parries in one fight in order to clear the entire lane without dying if you’re as good as you claim
Conclusion: OP is either sh*t, or talking absolute b*ll*cks

There's a lot of exaggeration in his initial post. 6* cull/proxima/ghulk dying from block damage in 5.3 is unrealistic, even without the extra tankiness adrenaline provides. Points about character lore don't add anything as well. Most characters don't reflect their comic counterparts in terms of strength. Culls BP sucks but the post did a poor job of showing it.

Bruh first of all are you really that mental to not upgrade a 6* to at least level 25? And are you really THAT bored to do stuff like act 7, etc. with your r5 5 STARS?!

let’s not forget he cleared Cav with a 5/65 mags before mags was even buffed
After so long waiting to pull Guardian 5 stars to pair him in my Team of 6 Star * Cull Obsidian, Proxima & Rag Hulk...they needed that 1000 Block Proficiency. Brought them to Act 5.3 ( each for individual class chapter ) and by the time I ramped up my Cull to 7-8 Charges ( out of 10) hes was dead. Same went with Rag Hulk to just did'nt kept consistency and Proxima got only 1 Prowess. and thats Just Act 5....most of the opponents have 80k-100k HP with 5-6k ATTACK. How come this champions so **** limited and limited... Such a disappointment... I so love these champions. Im frustrated to clear content with my 5/65 NF, Ghost, BWCV, Mag's & CV...its boring. - Especially seeing champs like Spiderham & Quake, who both in Comics and Cinematics x10 weaker then the champs i stated above, who carry Heavy Armor. ill wait and see in the first 2021 Quarter which Champions Kabam release and Buff Up if it keep the disappointment

Sounds like you really just need to practice playing more, and understanding the mechanics of the game

I didn't take enough block damage from parry or blocking for it to matter at all. Once Cull has 5 plus charges, it's game over anyway. These health pools in 5.3 are nothing.

I don't think saying "you will quit" will make future buffs any better. I really struggle to understand why ppl who create complaint posts always say they will quit if they don't get something they want. It's not like you'll be remembered if you do so.
I think kabams doing great buffing characters. Sure DDHK was kind of disappointing, but look at how many other characters there are that got buffed. Almost all of them got better by a ton. And also look at how many memes you could make off DDHKs buff. Colossus, great, Hulkbuster, INSANE, Venom, great, spider Gwen, great, falcon, gambit, VERY great. You're doing something wrong with this discussion.

I'm not a legend and my game play is....not great.
If you’re having trouble with cull OP, try and place some armour breaks with heavy, and activate your rout buff to deal an additional 120% damage in energy. This damage makes fights go faster so you’re not parrying as much. Then once he’s ramped up he should destroy every fight.
I’ll say, cull’s block proficiency (56%) is low. It’s about 8% below average. But at least it’s not god awful like wasp’s (39%, a glass cannon just like cull) or modok’s (28%, although this is somewhat justified due to his auto-block mechanic).

I solod a whole variant 2 path with a rank 3, 5 star red hulk. Stop blocking and start intercepting.
