That's also a concern of mine. I think multiple submissions are "okay", but only one of them should be selected. It can be the most popular or so. Otherwise, 1000x random draws, no reactions at all, would still win

But, that really would be unfair for quite a people. Imagine a person who spend 20 minutes per sketch and submitted 10 of them. That's close to 3.5 hrs of hardwork. Then imagine a person spending 12-16 hours working on 1 drawing carefully detailing the even the minute details on the drawing.
Wouldn't that be a disadvantage to the person who spent 16 hrs yet submitted 1 drawing.

This is the first time this has been done(at least to my knowledge) so please bear with me as I try to make sure I give everyone an opportunity to participate. But isn't that the point? I would personally prefer 1x good artwork instead of 1000x artworks made in a minute each. And I think that's how it should be, or otherwise it could be "exploitable", in some way. It would also not allow 1 person to get all the prizes as well.
Like I've mentioned earlier, I think multiple submissions are fine, even if they are posted just to get feedback and know which one is more popular. But for going forwards, only one per person should be allowed

Of course, there should be,that's why I am saying remove the submission point and I think poll will be a major factor for winner decider. Great painting should be deserved the winner tag and of course if everybody want to put limits then apply limits but I have put my 4 to 5 hrs in every painting then I was playing with game rules right!Apply limits,no argument but I want one final chance from myself and pictures who has got submitted till now shouldn't be disqualified.
If talking about the effort I have mentioned in previous picture It took my 3 hrs but it took more than that and average drawers like us may spent 5 or 6 hrs on a drawing but still the drawing that will come out may not be great!

Hey @Newlinstheory what @will-o-wisp said going forward only one submission should be considered and I don't know about others but I have spent my hours and heart in each of my drawing and disqualifying them is not fair to me.There are not much multiple submissions till now and identifying them is not a big task but disqualifying them according to new rule is not fair because they put their effort in every painting and that was good till that rule. This could have been exploitable but it is not till now and I will request everybody who are showing concern to the exploit should at least post their one drawing and if anybody is professional he can draw sketches in minutes(still there is effort) but if anybody who has posted at least one drawing ask them was it a cake walk?(I am not talking about them who just drew a simple line structure for just fun). Anybody can't draw anything unless he puts his heart and effort in it.Maybe picture may not come out great but just looking at the picture you can feel his dedication towards that drawing.If you still can't feel it ,then draw something meaningful by yourself.

That's also a concern of mine. I think multiple submissions are "okay", but only one of them should be selected. It can be the most popular or so. Otherwise, 1000x random draws, no reactions at all, would still win

But, that really would be unfair for quite a people. Imagine a person who spend 20 minutes per sketch and submitted 10 of them. That's close to 3.5 hrs of hardwork. Then imagine a person spending 12-16 hours working on 1 drawing carefully detailing the even the minute details on the drawing.
Wouldn't that be a disadvantage to the person who spent 16 hrs yet submitted 1 drawing.
Of course, there should be,that's why I am saying remove the submission point and I think poll will be a major factor for winner decider. Great painting should be deserved the winner tag and of course if everybody want to put limits then apply limits but I have put my 4 to 5 hrs in every painting then I was playing with game rules right!Apply limits,no argument but I want one final chance from myself and pictures who has got submitted till now shouldn't be disqualified.
If talking about the effort I have mentioned in previous picture It took my 3 hrs but it took more than that and average drawers like us may spent 5 or 6 hrs on a drawing but still the drawing that will come out may not be great!

I could spend 45 minutes making drawings and post like 20. You get one submission or it basically disqualifies people who spend a ton of time on a single submission. I spent 3-4 hours over 3 days making my stop motion(I have school and stuff). So because I don’t have time to make as many submissions, I don’t deserve a chance to win? That just isn’t fair.
@Geralt_123 I totally get what you're saying, but I don't think it makes sense to give points simply based on how many submissions you put, even if you put a lot of time. If your work is more liked, then more people will vote for it. This contest is specifically for one art submission versus another

Agree ,but doesn't it mean that people who drew was just for competition.They do enjoy drawing that's why they spent those hrs.You don't have time you can't draw more than once,it's ok.I had time,I drew 4.Now,it's good that you can exploit this but now,rules have changed and fair enough but I was right before this rule and there isn't any exploitation happened till now.So,I am just saying that my drawing shouldn't be disqualified.

Agree ,but doesn't it mean that people who drew was just for competition.They do enjoy drawing that's why they spent those hrs.You don't have time you can't draw more than once,it's ok.I had time,I drew 4.Now,it's good that you can exploit this but now,rules have changed and fair enough but I was right before this rule and there isn't any exploitation happened till now.So,I am just saying that my drawing shouldn't be disqualified.
One will be qualified. You can pick which one it is. Having it be accumulative is not fair.
@Geralt_123 I understand your concern, with your work here and max’s as well. I will be trying to pool in the amount of like/agrees/awesomes you have gotten with your past submission s and divide them to one of your works for the final run on the the 27th.
This was not a contest I was planning for weeks, its s fresh idea so there was bound to be some errors made. I apologize as this is a difficult situation because I wanted this unlimited submissions to work, but someone would have taken advantage of it eventually and won for using no effort. I didn’t want that to be the case, like i said in my updated message I wanted this be a fun and fair contest. So rest assured I will make sure this does NOT complete distinguish your chances

@Geralt_123 I totally get what you're saying, but I don't think it makes sense to give points simply based on how many submissions you put, even if you put a lot of time. If your work is more liked, then more people will vote for it. This contest is specifically for one art submission versus another

Not being disrespectful, just showing that having you be able to submit extra drawings for extra point stops anyone’s time consuming art from even coming close to competing. Anyway the rules are set so we really don’t need to argue about it further.

There should be a post above clarifying the change now and concerns for unlimited submissions.
And I am pretty sure many people who haven't posted yet are still drawing something that can blow people's mind.There are still many day's left and if just one post would be considered then where our average drawing will stand.
As I have stated earlier everybody is not going to scroll every page,so final winner will be decided by poll.
If it is concern for many people then there should be limit but it should be more than posts we have posted yet as we were following the game rules right and I have made every picture with pure dedication and deciding the most popular one from forums will still be unfair as I have stated earlier many deserving pics can be missed in middle too!

Imagine a person who spend 20 minutes per sketch and submitted 10 of them.
That's close to 3.5 hrs of hardwork.
Then imagine a person spending 12-16 hours working on 1 drawing carefully detailing the even the minute details on the drawing.
Wouldn't that be a disadvantage to the person who spent 16 hrs yet submitted 1 drawing.
So for now we will keep it as ONE SUBMISSION to participate in the contest but a limit of (1) extra submission can be entered for bonus pts( It will not be judged with any of the criteria I have, instead it will be just an extra 2 points and thats it)

With the short time of feed back from this post there is a change.EDIT: (Before I begin I would like to thank you for your concerns for this contest. This is the first time this has been done(at least to my knowledge) so please bear with me as I try to make sure I give everyone an opportunity to participate. I want this to be as fair as possible and also as fun as possible. Seeing works like Geralt, Crcrc, Cat_murdock, and Max are examples of those Id like to see participate. The work I have seen is great to see, but I believe ONE SUBMISSION is the final direction we go in. AGAIN.....THANK YOU for participating and giving your feedback. So this an update/explanation for the point system + A final poll on the 27th before submissions close to take a look back and gather some extra points for our contestants,
Point System:
-You will judged on your work from a 1-5 point system
-One submission
-Any detection of plagiarism by me or others of the community will result in an automatic disqualification from the contest.
*Based on the criteria I stated on the first announcement of the contest along with some new things*
1.) Creativity of the work
2.) Is it original and fun?
3.) Amount of awesome's, like's, Agree's.( 1 points for everyone you get)
4.)An explanation/story of inspiration for your submission awards 2 points automatically
Final Race for Points
I will be creating a google form on the 27th the same day the submissions will close at 11:59PM

I would personally prefer 1x good artwork instead of 1000x artworks made in a minute each. And I think that's how it should be, or otherwise it could be "exploitable", in some way. It would also not allow 1 person to get all the prizes as well.
Like I've mentioned earlier, I think multiple submissions are fine, even if they are posted just to get feedback and know which one is more popular. But for going forwards, only one per person should be allowed
If talking about the effort I have mentioned in previous picture It took my 3 hrs but it took more than that and average drawers like us may spent 5 or 6 hrs on a drawing but still the drawing that will come out may not be great!

This could have been exploitable but it is not till now and I will request everybody who are showing concern to the exploit should at least post their one drawing and if anybody is professional he can draw sketches in minutes(still there is effort) but if anybody who has posted at least one drawing ask them was it a cake walk?(I am not talking about them who just drew a simple line structure for just fun).
Anybody can't draw anything unless he puts his heart and effort in it.Maybe picture may not come out great but just looking at the picture you can feel his dedication towards that drawing.If you still can't feel it ,then draw something meaningful by yourself.
