Why Human Torch is immune to COLD-SNAP & FROSTBITE and not Sunspot?

I am a big fan of Sunspot as well as Human Torch.
MCOC did a great job on both of them.

But I think Sunspot should be immune to COLD-SNAP & FROSTBITE as his fire covered body should melt the ICE.
