Since Kabam has been updating champions that have really needed it (I can't wait for Yellow Jacket!), I figured I'd bring attention to Electro. As you know, this champion has been in desperate need of a buff for a long time, and is always super annoying to encounter in quests. Well, in this, I wanted to show a few ideas for what I think Electro could have instead of what he has now.
Electrostatic:
-When struck by a critical hit, 100% chance to inflict a 3 second shock dealing up to (X) direct energy damage.
-Electro takes -100% shock damage from all sources.
-While under the effects of a shock debuff, Electro gains 1% of a bar per second and +5% Special damage per shock debuff applied to him.
Static Shock:
-Electro starts the fight with 10 permanent Shock debuffs applied to him. These shocks deal 0 damage each second.
-Any and all shock debuffs applied to Electro become permanent.
-40% chance, when struck, to remove a shock debuff on Electro and place it on the opponent. This shock deals (X) direct energy damage over 7 seconds.
-When striking an opponent suffering from a shock debuff, Electro has a 30% chance to remove 1 shock debuff and inflict in on himself. The stolen shock debuff then becomes permanent until re-inflicted onto the opponent
-If Electro has 0 shock debuffs applied to him, he gains one after 5 seconds. If a shock fails to be applied to Electro in this way, he cannot gain any shock debuffs for 7 seconds this way.
-If the opponent is struck by a special attack, all active shock debuffs detonate, dealing (X) Direct energy damage for each shock detonated.
Electric Fury:
-When Striking the opponent, Electro has a (X)% chance to gain a 3 second, non-stacking Fury Buff that increases attack by 2.5% for each shock debuff applied to him (Max: 30%).
Signature Ability: Energy Recycle
Each time a shock debuff on the opponent expires or is purified (not counting being detonated), Electro has a (X)% chance to apply a shock debuff to himself.
Heavy Attacks:
-Electro has a 20% chance to inflict a 5 second shock debuff dealing up to (X) direct energy damage. This chance is lowered by 2% for each shock debuff on the opponent.
Special Attacks:
Special One:
The final strike of the special applies 3 shock debuffs, each dealing (X) direct energy damage over 5 seconds.
Special Two:
Transfers all active shock debuffs on Electro. These shock debuffs last 5 seconds, each dealing (X) direct energy damage per second.
Special Three:
Reapplies every shock debuff detonated after the special attack.
New Synergies:
Electric Surge: Electro
All champions gain +10% shock potency
Unique Synergy: Does not stack with duplicate synergies
The Sinister Six: Rhino/Doctor Octopus/Vulture/Green Goblin/Iron Patriot/Mysterio
Doc Oc: Reduces opponent's evasion ability accuracy by 50% as long as he is under the effect of a Fury buff
Vulture: If the opponent is immune to incinerate, Vulture instead applies a Frostbite debuff of equal potency and duration
Rhino: +20% attack while unstoppable
Green Goblin: Debuffs gain +15% potency and ability accuracy
Mysterio: Starts the fight with 1 Chemical Gas charge
Iron Patriot: Starts the fight with a permanent armor buff, increasing armor by +5000
Electro: Critical hits have a 15% chance to inflict a 3 second shock debuff dealing up to 3% of Electro's current attack
Unique Synergy: Does not stack with duplicate synergies
Kill the Spider!: All #Spider-Verse Heroes
Reduces evasion of of the opponent by 5% for each shock debuff active on them if they are a #Spider-Verse Heroes champion
Now, these ideas aren't perfect, and they are just ideas for a possible rework for Electro. However, I think they would work really well for him and would really make others want him more. Additionally, this would make fighting electro much more easier, as the way he is know is just extremely annoying. With this, he wouldn't deal as much reflection/thorns damage and would have a lot more viable counters, but this would also make him much more stronger than he already is. So, if anyone could please share this with Kabam, I would appreciate it a lot and I hope you enjoyed.
