Hi all,

So i just pulled sunspot, everything i read says he’s a very good champ even un duped but so far i have got on very well with him and i am a bit reluctant to spend resources on him. What are peoples thoughts? Am i missing something?

Are you spamming sp1 and charging heavies, then throwing an sp2? Because that is some crazy damage.

I have him as 6* r2. He's great! Incinerates, perfect block, and the juicy damage from sp2 after building flare states. He is a burst damage type.

To state the obvious, are you playing him right? When the enemy has incinerates on them you can stun then for a long time with parry. You then charge your heavy attack to absorb the incinerate debuffs and build power quickly. Then hit the heavy attack/SP1, put more incinerates on them, absorb them, build more power. After a couple of SP1s get to your SP2 and it will cause massive damage. You can hit more SP1s to build more damage on the SP2, but with him unduped you don’t want to run out of charges before you hit an SP2, so play with him a bit to find the sweet spot in terms of when you should hit the SP2. If you play him right his damage output is insane. I actually think the dupe helps a fair bit because it gives more charges, which lets you be more flexible in fights and/or cause more damage, but he’s still fine unduped.

In 4 hit combo chain in sp1 then parry, charge heavy release it before stun expires and then repeat and use sp2.
