Yep, i suggest practicing it in duels before taking her to AQ and whatever you do, do not run suicides if you plan on using Tigra for Apocalypse. He will activate a weakness debuff on you when he launches his sp1 which will prevent you from causing the projectiles to miss
I've be practicing with my 4* Tigra vs Apoc duel. This isn't easy yo do. I hope to pull a 5* Tigra because I'll keep practing and R5 her. She is insanely good once you get her playstyle.

It takes a while to get good with her, even longer to master her but it is worth your time

Tried a few times now, seems like 3 backs and 2 lights into a heavy.
Non tigra expert here, how do you make specials miss?
Charging/Holding heavy, tigra is the only champ in the game who can do that indefinitely I believe, so hypothetically with tigra, u can hold heavy and stand in the middle of the stage for ages, she's really fun, I used her for 6.2.6 champion, she slaughters the big blue lad

Quake can hold indefinitely as well
Yeah, I totally forgot quake lol, that's what happens when u don't have quake at a higher rarity than 3 star

Tigra, Quake and Professor X all can hold heavy indefinitely
Thanks for this @Fintech - just did a duel s a 6R3 and it works though when doing the 3 lights after dashing back it always feels as if he'll hit you before you get to the heavy charging, but it works.

You won’t “know” it, per se. It’s the experience and preference of the player.
I prefer back back light then heavy. Triple back triple lights then heavy gives me less time to react, ie more room for error, which I don’t really like. Although I must say, it allows all 3 hits of the heavy to hit, which means longer uptime of the 2 modes.

When you are fighting with a time limit it's very important to keep the senses up as long as possible without having to refresh them with sp1 which is why i do 3 dash backs and 3 lights before heavy. It allows me to get right up to him before he shoots the beams while also avoiding the stomp
