Two forms of gifting transaction

How difficult would it be to create two forms of gifting transaction next year? A one way transaction where an exchange of gifts isn’t expected.

Then a two way exchange that doesn’t process until both summoners press send. I’m not on the tech side of things so I don’t know what kind of difficulty it would entail. But, it would certainly all but eliminate the possibility of people getting ripped off. Thoughts?

Easy to program from a code perspective but still not worth the effort as it’s a gift event and not a trade event per se
Only trading with people you trust already solves your issue

I agree that’s the best way to prevent it. I only trade with guys I’ve played with for years. But there will always be people who put themselves at risk of getting ripped off.

You can only minimize risk so much tho some people deserve what comes to them for taking such risks imo
