Can't get into the game

After taking a while off CoC I decided to get back into it, but when ever I try to get in, it comes up with the same issue every time no matter where I am

"Failed to log in,
Cannot connect to the network, Please check your connection and try again"
And I am connected to the wifi or 3G but comes up with it every time

I am on a IPhone 5S if it helps the problem

Have you updated to the latest version 15.1?

I redownloaded the game today and it’s not the first time it happened. Couple months ago I try to play it and it had the same problem as today. I deleted it thinking that if I try again in a later update it will be solved. Tiss not the case
