4* Shards disappearing without getting a crystal

So after the rank rewards payout today, a weird glitch happened to me where I had 4000 4* shards from the gifting event payout, and when I tried to convert the shards into a crystal, one of the crystals did not appear, and when I pressed on the additional 2000 shards for another crystal, that appeared and I got only 1 pull. This was a baffling occurrence, so I tried it out on my second account but it did not glitch there. Kindly look into this issue.
