The argument "X champion is not good because A,B and C can also do what he does" isn't viable anymore imo. There's almost 200 champions in this game so there's bound to be overlaps in abilities. We're getting close to the point where there will almost no reason to rank up any of the newer champs because there are older champions with similar abilities. All the champion buffs we're getting will only make this a bigger problem. Look at what happened to Elsa. Upon her release no one thought highly of her but fast forward to now and people genuinely think she's top 5 skill. Most of the 2020 champs are in the same boat as Elsa was in when she debuted. I can only assume as time goes on people will appreciate these newer champs more. Unrealistic expectations and terms like "skill corvus" and "cosmic omega" aren't helping either. Ranking up a "fun" champion is more important now than it has ever been.
Looks absolutely amazing in mammoth content like abyss which is seemingly what he is designed for but doesn’t seem like a champ that u would bring out for general questing or even stuff like act 6 or 7...yes he has amazing damage output along with almost permanent unblockable and other good stuff where he can just bash opponents with high health pools and limited nodes(abyss) but add his seemingly long rampup and lack of immunities ,one or two tricky node combinations would reduce his efficiency in quests and act 6 is the place with tricky combinations(and has the health pools to justify his rampup) and I don’t think there are many lanes there which he can cover

I would completely agree with you except in the reverse order. he is great for stuff in act 5-6-7 cuz sorta quick ramp-up, but he kinda needs synergies and ur not gonna be bringing in synergies into the abyss

I said something similar in one of the posts a few weeks ago that we really need to stop using the terms "mutant aegon" or whatever. It creates a level of hype that almost always ends up in disappointment. So far, I like what I see from the videos i've watched. He's not the first synergy champion as OG's will remember PB teams of the old days. it was ok for that, for Domino or Blade, why is Stryfe needing some synergies a bad thing? Even Aegon works better with PM to maintain that combo.

I am not entirely sure but it seems that for abyss he only needs apoc synergy while for other quests he needs 2 team slots in form of apoc and cable...again I am not sure at all

Heimdall is the god of revive-saving, and I don't think people would switch him out for apocalypse synergy

Stryfe, Apoc, Heimdall, Torch, and a mystic? I have no idea how good he is for Collector as I have not seen any gameplay but who knows

He only needs 1 synergy, and for abyss easy path at least, you have 1 or even 2 free slots for synergies. He would definitely be viable for abyss even with his synergy.

Still that spot heimdall takes up is a free slot. You can replace heimdall with anyone, and that can easily be apocolypse. Its not like hemidall is needed.
He really only looks like he needs synergies to hasten his ramp up. The Apocolypse horsemen synergy is nice but in no way does it look like a must have. At worst you'd be using one extra revive to finish off the fight after the ramp up.
