Doctor Strange buff ideas

I'm not sure if someone has done this already but I couldn't find any search results for this topic and I just wanted to open up a new platform for discussion.

I'll start. And just to preface this I know most of the community probably just wants a revert to pre-patch 12.0 but imo Dr. Strange should be a top-tier mystic champ and reverting him at this point in time wouldn't do that for him. Also, I came up with an idea more centralized around the movies lol.

Doctor Strange:

Passive - All of Strange’s attacks deal energy damage, Strange deals additional energy damage for each debuff on the opponent, medium attacks inflict a 10-second stagger.

Counterspell - Whenever a buff is nullified, or removed from the opponent, inflict the corresponding debuff for 5 seconds.
Armor up ~ inflict an armor break debuff
Fury ~ inflict a weakness debuff
Precision ~ inflict a fatigue debuff
Cruelty ~ inflict an exhaustion debuff
Aptitude ~ inflict an ineptitude debuff
Prowess ~ inflict a taunt debuff
Regeneration ~ inflict a spectre debuff
Unstoppable ~ inflict a slow debuff
Power gain ~ inflict a power drain debuff

Cloak of Levitation - Strange’s cloak provides an x% chance to auto-block all attacks. Attacks that are auto-blocked provide a stun debuff for 1 second. If the parry mastery is active, this will instead trigger parry and inflict a 10-second vulnerability debuff.

Heavy attacks - each hit provides an x% chance to remove one beneficial effect from the opponent. Each effect removed this way deals a burst of energy damage to the opponent. If the mystic dispersion mastery is active, this damage is doubled.

Special 1 - Strange summons the crimson bands of Cyttorak (should look something like OR’s sp1, think infinity war when he tries to pull the gauntlet off of Thanos with those chain thingies) ~ inflicts an x second long paralyze debuff, each hit has a 50% chance pulverize the opponent’s armor.

Special 2 - Strange casts the images of Ikonn (the thing he did in infinity war where he duplicated himself, probably should look like Mysterio’s sp2) ~ activates a 5-second phase passive providing a 100% chance to miss upon contact. Each hit the opponent misses removes 1 beneficial effect.

Special 3 - Strange enters the mirror dimension (casts the mirror dimension spell thingy and then absolutely annihilates the opponent) ~ gain a permanent fury passive increasing base attack by 20%, gain a 3 prowess passives increasing special attack damage by 20% for 20 seconds, remove up to 3 fury buffs from the opponent.

Signature ability ~ Eye of Agamotto - When Strange would die, he creates a time loop ~ basically lifecycle, more sig levels increases the amount of regen he gets probably up to a maximum of 25%.

Guaranteed Stagger on Mediums, Auto-Block without a cool-down, and a Lifecycle-esque Sig Ability? Sounds too OP.

*Note: Reverse of Regen should be Degen.*

The stagger is like the sym supreme stagger ability, the auto-block doesn't have a high trigger chance, and lifecycle is like the perfect encapsulation of the time loop. Degen seems fair tho

Yes but Sym Supreme only has a % chance to place those Staggers. They aren't guaranteed on each hit. The only guaranteed Staggers in the game are on Single-Hit Heavy Attacks, such as TJF or Doom. This is because Heavy Attacks are harder to pull off than a Medium Attack.

But the Autoblock still doesn't have a cooldown. With champions like Heimdall or Medusa with Autoblock that triggers Parry, those Autoblocks can be worked around and prevented from triggering. This Autoblock, however, cannot be prevented from triggering, therefore it should have a cooldown/or not inflict Stun.

Yes, but being able to take hits and Regen up with the only counter being to knock them down is too OP as an Attacker. You would never die unless you got knocked down multiple times.

fair enough. 10-second cooldown on auto-block, 10% chance to stagger on basic attacks, and instead of just plain lifecycle you could have a 10-20 second lifecycle/limbo ability where you can't die but your opponent can that can only be activated every 60 seconds by dashing back and holding block for 2 seconds.

    Yeah that sounds pretty good!
