Petrify and pacify

How useful are the two - petrify and pacify?

Are they worth 2 points each?

Petrify is imo worth maxing if you run despair (and have champs that apply a lot of debuffs)

Pacify is good except where nodes can work for you (like the class based CavEQ nodes), in which case they may fail.

Me personally I have maxed petrify and no pacify

I like petrify a lot. I run it 3/3 (also at a stepping stone for MD)

This gives every champ a bit of power control. Parry MLM.

Im not a big fan pacify. It might end hurting you.

When the opponent is stunned, for the duration of the stun, Max. Pacify reduce enemy's ability accuracy by 30%.

This is useful when trying to prevent Magik's limbo or IM's Regen (ok, who cares about this Regen) or some champs which trigger power flood etc, etc.

So, it is useful still.

Man! I am so confused between the two! hahaha
Probably gonna put 2 points in each to have good of both worlds! It would make the proficiencies tree just enough for me to unlock MD.

Do you have many Mystic champs?
I am planning to take out points from MD as I have only Symbiote Supreme as rank up champ who is not regular on quest team and also not as AW defender.

Feels like waste of investment until I get more Mystic champs to rank up.

When I ran RoL with Guillotine, I did not do well because of max. Petrify (from what I read).

So the mastery is situational. We are supposed to tweak it according to the content.
