While using a romance synergy, after triggering the node , if you stun the opponent immediately before the node resets the opponent will prematurely come out of the stun while not retriggering the node.

Moreover, I don’t know if it is intended or not, but passive stuns like Dr. Doom and Storm Pyramid X don’t activate like they should despite the node not saying that the opponent is stun immune.

    I Was just wondering that myself. Lost a couple fights because of that. Once the timer ends it nullifies your stun. Only question I have is does it give you the fury buff in addition for taking away your stun?

    It's supposed to. You don't actually Stun, you just convert it into Fury. Rather than rebounding on you, it will convert.

    The interaction is intentional as the Hard Head buff nullify's the stun when it comes off of cool down. You have to achieve a well-timed block (intentionally) on the opponent to get that fury, if you have the Romance Synergy. In other words, well-timed blocks trigger The Power of Love.

    I believe the issue comes from them being stun immune with the shield up, and the shield only deactivates through gaining a new stun when it is active. So it will purify all stuns when it reactivates
