    I did it to cheese a lane on the act 7.1 :)

    While i would not advise to use a generic awakening gem on such a low champion, it gives him the possibility to stun lock some champions/boss.
    So do not do it unless you really need this capacity for some specific lane or champion.

    He'll help cheese some bosses/champions/nodes in act 4&5, and eq's.
    For example, the venom boss in act 4, the power reserve paths in act 5, and any time against a scenario with a ton of buffs
