AI recovery time

Forgive me if this is an old topic. I was wondering if kabam made an announcement about the quickening of ai recovery times at some point. I'm not sure with which update the changes occurred, but it has become harder and harder to retaliate after successfully evading a heavy attack or special. Since the beginning of the game these have been key openings we have been trained to attack on. I now find that I am being parried or even intercepted after dashing in immediately after evading a heavy or special. Can anyone let me know if this is intentional and will it continue to ramp up even further? If so, we will have to fundamentally change the way we play the game and no longer view "whiffed" heavies or specials as openings for attack. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Haven't seen this at all, maybe you're waiting too long or something?

I experienced this with CA in Master Quest 3.2 just before Mephisto, previously you had a little bit more time to counter after evading his sp2, now that window is much smaller. Its seems as though you can still counter after evade but you have to be spot on with your timing, very much like Parry.

It doesn't happen all the time and I understand that certain characters have always been that way...magneto for instance on his sp1 and a couple others, but I've had several alliance members sight the same thing. Several characters have been recovering way faster after sp1(in war specifically). Traditionally we were always able to punish them after evading special 1. Not recently. I've also seen prominent you tubers experience this in their aw footage.

Obviously their (AI) behavior has changed recently, they are way more patient and calculating mostly to make it more difficult to parry or intercept them. I am ok with this and have been able to adjust, we can adjust to faster recovery times as well in time if need be. I was just wondering if it was intentional mostly.
