Modifiers in arena

I know the arenas are boring and repetitive, but what if modifiers were added to the arenas to spice things up.
People could choose one out of many modifier which would be applicable for the full round of arena (3 days). Based on the difficulty level there would be a base multiplier for each modifier. This would multiply the points earned with the modifier multiplier.
Also, different brackets would be there for each modifier to allow all the top scorers a chance to win the champs. But there would be more milestones to cover as multiplier would be helping.
