Is it more likely to pull CGR from a dual, basic or the featured?

Hey guys! 👋🏼,
Was just curious, I am and have been saving up 5* shards in order to pull CGR. I have the awakening gem and the sigs ( 100 should due for now ), I have 110k 5* shards and feel like opening some crystals! But just which ones? Since I was looking for CGR I would be going either Cosmic and Tech, featured or basic, but which one has the better odds of pulling CGR?

Dual is probably your best bet now
Most champs in the featured crystal are already in the basic pull

Feature 1/24 odds
Basic 1/170 (ish)
Dual 1/68 (ish)
So it comes down to. 7 tries at 1/24
Or more tried at way worse odds

Actually it's still 1 in 24 per crystal. The odds don't stack the more crystals you open, they reset (or only apply) per each separate spin. You could spin 24 and still not pull him.

Not quite you don’t get a 7/24
You get a 1/24 (7times)
This 7 tries at a 4.1 percent chance each
Which is still better then 11 tries at 1/68 1.4 percent ish
Or 1/170 (.5 ish percent chance)

Those are Mutually exclusive occurrences

Featured has the best chance but I've opened a good 30+ 5* featured crystals and another 15 or so Featured 6* all for apoc and still holding an empty bag, so just keep your expectations realistic. By the numbers I should've got him at least once but mcoc rng is its own brutal beast.

Fair enough, good luck with Apocalypse at some point. Yeah, the rng can be quite nasty every now and then, if not always

While this is true, youll get 3 chances at the dual for every 2 featureds.
