Should I use a gem on Colossus?

After weeks of pulling utter trash, I finally got Colossus. I have a mutant AG but I don't know if I should use it on him especially since there's awakened AA and Void competing for the sigs. Void is sig 85 while AA is sig 52.
How usable is Colossus at sig 1? He's not going to max sig anytime soon.

I would. His dupe give two ways to generate Armor Up buffs:

The first is when an immunity prevents a debuff - at sig 1 he gets half the % chance he does at sig 200 to gain a 15 second armor up.

The second is when a temporary buff expires he can convert it to permanent - at sig 1 he has 1/3rd % chance of the max at sig 200.

I think people look past the value of sig 1 for him.

Personally I would get AA to sig 112 first (a bit of a magic number for him), then get Void to sig 200, before I put anything more than the AG in Collosus.

I used a generic and personally regret it but thats just my opinion. If ya have a cap IW i'd use a gem on him rather than col and max him out. He is still a good option for the gem tho, just a matter of preference

Mine is a mutant. I wouldn't use a generic on Colossus

Yes. He is really worthy of the gem and it makes a huge difference on the performance of colossus.

I’d put them gem in. It’s a class gem and I feel like we get class gems quite often now. He’s worth going to sig 1 and waiting for the time you can put stones into him.
