Moleman heavy attack reach?

Moleman after his buff would require spamming heavies to keep frenzy phase active as long as possible especially against special match ups like unblockable or stun immune, one way is to counter heavy attack.
Interestingly all the champions with single hit heavy attack move forward - to cover the hit box gap and they can effectively counter heavy attacks- except for Moleman. In Moleman case he either stand in his ground or move a little backwards. I don’t know if that’s intentional or not, this may be caused by having the center mass of the champion on the Moleman himself rather than J jr.
