Possible bug with aegon

What am I missing in aq with aegon. Just messing around with him in aq and somehow lost my combo without being hit? Am I missing something as nothing special today just power to cower mod.

    I don't really use him in aq I normally just sparkles and next so never really paid close attention to that.
