Both are great.

Hyperion is more of a swiss army knife... good for a variety of fights and quickly accessible damage.

Guardian takes more ramp up, but destroys domino and havok on trickier nodes like Aegis 2. He's always a perfect counter for rage nodes.

Probably would go Hyperion first, but would plan for both.

FYi, Guardian needs a high sig for his damage potential.

Hyperion is good unduped, sig 1 is a game changer as the furies will last longer and he only needs about sig30 overall as his max damage potential doesn't scale much beyond that.

If only one is awakened, rank up them.

If none of them are awakened/both are, pick which one you like the most

That’s false. His sig does nothing for his damage at all

Definitely guardian. He’s got more uses and way more utility than hype and also has crazy damage.

Well, I've got both up at rank 5, and Hyperion definitely has the edge in overall value (if we're not counting that block prof synergy). Of course, that's unless I'm running suicides.
