2730 minutes to download cellular data after updating

Really? I download the update on WiFi. Go about my day. Open the game. Says I have to download 500 something MB over cellular and it will take approximately 2730 minutes. On iPhone 7+.

    it appears you now need to open game to finish update (after you've downloaded patch).
