Why should a weaker team that goes further in AW than a stronger team get penalized because they have a weaker team? If the weaker team goes further in AW they should receive more points. Defender rating is set up to reward the stronger AW team with more points for placing a stronger team. The weaker team should earn more points if they make it as far or further in AW.
