I know that this was quite a long time back, but I started watching JoJo's just recently and then I fought a guy in arena with this title so I was like platinum crusader huh? And then I opened the title and it said from platinum is unbreakable arena or sth and I was like: "Kabam, is this a JoJo's reference I see?"
If it is a mash up of the 2 best season's imo, so far at least as I am currently watching Golden Wind, kudos to you kabam I was really surprised by it.

    The Platpool arena had a title for top scorers “Platinum Star”

    So a little late on the ball but correct it’s a reference.
