Any Ideas about Next Overhaul?

Eagerly waiting for next Overhaul, almost whole community. There is no clue from Kabam. Anybody have any Idea about it. Only if we knew about it, we can start preparing Catalyst and Items for those Champs.
Hopefully Overhauls are OG champs, it would be really fun and nostalgic.

The only clue could be the “dud” champs from the new featured 6*. Similar to how falcon and gambit were in the last one. I don’t know how likely it is, and I don’t necessarily think it’s guaranteed that kabam would do the same thing twice- but champions like Howard the duck, dr strange are the most likely. Possibly mephisto, black bolt or Thor, but I don’t know if they are worth overhauls.

Apart from that there has been 0 clues, so this is all we have to go off.

Considering I just pulled Iron Fist, I would be very happy if he got buffed

I would like Moon Knight but my guess is that Miles and/or OG BP will be the overhaul and I think Night Thrasher and Mephisto will get tune ups.

"In order to give each Champion the most meaningful buff as possible, we’re going to be switching to a 3 update per month schedule, which will include 1 Overhaul, and 2 Moderate/Value Only updates."

So April will now have only one overhaul and while BP classic is a strong contender, I think he'll be coming most likely in summer, meanwhile the work on Miles hasn't even been started yet last we heard by @Kabam Miike.

By coincidence we've been seeing most of the buffed champs showing up in the featured crystals, so maybe one of OGs finally get some love.

I think you’re onto it, @BitterSteel. I don’t know if this month is going to be two overhauls as per the original cadence, or one overhaul and two lesser updates as stated in the new plan going forward, but here’s my breakdown of it:

Crossbones: Value/Moderate
The Hood: dude who even knows at this point
OG Thor: seems unlikely, but he might get some love
Howard: Moderate/Overhaul
Mephisto: Value/Moderate
Doctor Strange: Overhaul
Black Bolt: Moderate

DS is the only one on that list who I think desperately needs a rebuild from the ground up. The others all have at least some bits and pieces of their kits that are useful.

@Wicket329 i think you got BB and DS mixed up. BB just has buffs and poison immunity, but DS even nerfed still has regen in power phase, great BP in armor phase, reasonable damage in fury phase, and then the strongest and most user-friendly nullify in the game. On top of energy hits and fate seal L3.

DS just needs a value update and maybe a bit of utility on his armor and fury phases whereas BB needs to be more than Wish.com pre-buff Angela

But isn't the usual trend with Cosmic champs to have a ton of buffs so how would overhauling Black Bolt be needed when he fits the criteria for an update.

That being said, a numbers increase with his furys and cruelty as well as a full inhuman synergy would really be something.

Overhaul: agent venom
Moderate: nebula
Value only: crossbones

I get excited after I play with them enough to know if the buff is any good. 😛

This is a hope and prayer but also somewhat likely. I think htd is going to get overhauled. Maybe not next month but sometime soon. He’s in the 6* featured currently and there’s no arguing that he’s good right now so the only good reason he could be there is because of a buff.

I also have a 6* Howard and would really like him to get buffed.

I don’t disagree, but the reason I didn’t consider BB as an overhaul is because of how many synergies he interacts with. Dramatically changing his kit would require a lot of synergy changes. Doesn’t rule it out, but I thought it made it less likely.
