Losing a rankup gem

I have a 3 to 4 rankup gem for 2017 champs in my overflow, which I’m going to lose in a couple hours. I want to put it into spider gwen, but the only gem being shown is a science rankup gem. I expected to be able to take the gem out of my overflow by ranking up spider gwen, but now I’m stuck, and I’m losing a really valuable resource. It feels little unfair, as I have no one else at R3 to use the gem on :( Kabam, please enable a way to select your rankup gem. Feeling kinda bad about this one

    In the same situation with Blade. I’d use an ag on him too if I could rank him with the 2017 gem

    I can understand ur pain....i too lost a 2-3 generic gem from variants.......i had 2 champs to rank up but they were only showing the class gems. 😤

    @Batman_bruce31 that's tough. I'd be okay with 2-3 but I'm losing 4 t2a with this gem

    You have to contact support and explain the situation and they’ll usually help you.

    The game defaults to class gems. This has been an ongoing problem that Kabam continuously ignores.
