In Quite A Dilemma (Need Help!)

I just opened a 5* Aegon and have an awakening gem(generic) and I want to do Labyrinth Of Legends. But don't know if I should take me up to the max or wait for Colossus.
Because almost all fights are completed by Colossus in more or less than 150 hits... Whereas Aegon still take around 250-300 hits even at 999 combo (saw the whole run of Lags Jr.)
So I just want to know why do people say that Aegon is still better than Colossus for LoL. Please help me understand what to do.

Max him out. Aegon is not only about labyrinth. He covers many areas in the game.

Let's see, -100% AA, unblockable, 30k mediums with furies, true strike, and more at 999 combo.

I'd just max out cause you never know when you're gonna pull a Colossus, you have a champ right now and even if you do pull a Colossus Aegon won't be totally useless
