Arena brackets

Does anyone know if arena brackets are still a thing, i saw on youtube a vid of someone saying that in the first 30 days of the account, you get placed in some kind of beginner arena bracket. Then 30-90 days is an intermediate and after that you are in the expert bracket. Ive done some research but couldnt find any info. Does any know something about this?

    as far as I'm aware brackets are still used

    Haven't heard anything to the contrary.

    Fun story: I tried to take advantage of the brackets when I started, but it didn't work despite the grind. Then anniversary week rolled around and I found out my account was 2 years old because I tried mcoc for 15 mins one time. Whhhoops.

    First 30 days is Beginner. Second 30 days is Intermediate. 60 days and over is Veteran. As far as I know, it's still a thing.
