Using G99 against Delirium Domino on Map 7 AQ

Every time I take a blocked hit against delirium Domino with G99 on that node it triggers a critical fail, does anyone know why?

    She reduces your ability accuracy, maybe you parried and it failed to trigger

    It’s triggering because your digi cloak isn’t activating.

    Is it supposed to activate on blocked attacks? And if so why doesn’t it activate randomly when I am parrying of normally fighting? Maybe I am wrong but I can’t think of a single time it has activated when I was blocking.
