Quit out of side quest and reentered and it's empty?

So I quit out of the side quest because I couldn't finish it and I reentered with another key and there are 0 rewards. I beat everyone but the boss the first time around, so it's like the path rewards are already collected, but aren't they supposed to respawn?

You need to beat the boss to reset the quest. Or wait till next day when it resets automatically.

Only if you complete it. Just like when you pick up a revive on a path and quit out. Map only resets if you finish it.

Edit: In this case, it also resets every 24 hours too, but if you want to run more than once a day and have the keys, then you need to finish it first.
