How unlucky have I been with 5*s? And which of these should be invested in?

Magik is my best/favorite option, I know Crossbones is good but I'm still unfamiliar with him, and there's a few other "decent" champs.

I can't take the pain of constantly waiting for the next crystal. Who are my best options? I have great 5/50s (Cap, NF, Doom), but I feel they are being stretched past their limits in act 5.4

Not that unlucky.... I'd invest in Luke, Xbones and Voodoo for now! All 3 benefit from awakening, but they are still very good!

Magik is awesome, Crossbones got buffed and is now insane, and Civil Warrior is pretty good

Magik, xbones and PM are great options. You only have 15 5* champions, with +30 start start thinking about your luck

You have some pretty decent champs. Magik, Voodoo, Crossbones, and Proxima are really good. Voodoo definitely needs to be awakened though. Kamala is pretty good too. Same with Luke Cage, Carnage, Civil Warrior, and Yellowjacket. Really good 4 star champs can get you through Act 5. Obviously once you get to Act 6 you can't use them, but you still have some decent options

Voodoo is great Magik, Cage are both solid, Yellowjacket is versatile now since his buff, Civil warrior is also good, haven't used cRossbones since the update.

if your carnage gets awakened he will be amazing

Everyone is saying to awaken Voodoo but I want to add that you really only need 1 single sig level on him. Some will say he's better at high sig but if you ever get an awakening gem, use it on him and don't worry about the sig level, he is one of those champs that is instantly transformed just from being awakened.

Magik: Still used a lot in top-level AW attack teams to counter some annoying defenders. I mean like, Top-10 Alliances. That should say a lot about her.

Proxima: Workhorse. Underrated because she was overhyped. She can parry non-contact attacks, and the 200% OAAR while blocking comes in handy in many, many situations.

Voodoo: Needs the dupe, but is still very solid. I'd focus on Magik, though.

Xbones: Eh. Wish his overdrive have him enough furies for 100% DAAR. I don't like to take chances when one bad proc can end the fight. That said, I'm not expert on him.

Overall, it's honestly an average roster. Most people post their rosters because they got lucky and wanted to show off, skewing what one should expect from the average experience.

Oh, and I hope you enjoy that pain -- it never truly goes away.

What do your 4 stars look like. I don't mean to be reasonable here but if you're finishing 5.4 and explore it first you get more 5 stars and resources and I believe a couple awakening gems. Might be worth it to rank up 4 star corvus or unit man before dumping resources into champs you aren't gushing over then finish open your rewards and now have someone you want to rank up and now not have the resources.

Personally I’d invest in magik and voodoo. Play around with civil warrior and crossbones to see if you like them but if not don’t rank them up. Awakening that voodoo would be really helpful but it’s good that you already have two strong mystics.
