Incursion help?

I’ve been a pretty casual on and off player for just over a year(initially to entertain my son) but been more into it the last few months and building what for me is an ok roster. I use incursions quite a bit and as of 7pm I am now tier 2 and only get rewards from sector 6 and 7, any ideas why I’ve moved up as furthest I have gotten is zone 7 in sector 5 and once to zone 4 in sector 6, I’m really not upto standard for 6 and 7 yet! Is it my roster or progress and might I move back down?

It has to do with the number of 5 stars and 6 stars in your roster. I forget the numbers off the top of my head but they should be listed somewhere either in the incursion page or store. I recently got a bunch of 5 stars and had the same thing happen to me. Went from being able to hit all the milestones, to struggling to hit a single one. Good luck!

Thanks, got a 5* ant man the other day which took me to 16 which might explain it, oh dear I’m not blessed with the best 5* champs either so think I’m going to struggle from now on

Yeah, as Darksniper said, its based on the number of champions of each rarity that you posses. You can technically do lower sectors (I think) but you won't get the zone rewards. It will probably be a bit tough for a while, but it might be worth it to look up ideas for specific champs that maximize the incursion hacks.

Aegon or other ramp up champions are great, but there are a lot of other champions that work better in Incursions than other sectors of the game, and maybe playing with different champion combinations and finding the right friends that are actually good at Incursions can help you get progressively farther.

Thanks, I have a 6* rank 1 unduped aegon from gifting event so don’t get the ramp up unfortunately, another negative is the people I play with regularly don’t have the champs to play at sector 6 or 7, I’m hoping the higher difficulty might help me with my story progression as I’m still stuck at 5.1.6
