Hood - When will he be Re-Buffed?

When will Hood be Re-Buffed? I took him to rank 2 after you Buffed and then removed the Buff on the basis that a Re-Buff was promised. All, I want to know is which month will he be Re-Buffed? I assumed it would be in the near future and not next year or something? Kabam, please advise so that you can manage our expectations accordingly. Thank you.

Don't know but probably not May.

Eh, I think it might be May. They want to get Odin done in less time, and almost all the work on Hood is already done. Moving Buffs around based on what is and isn't ready isn't a hard thing to do, given they've done that twice within the last ~6 months already.

It's possible it'll be later, but I don't see why it couldn't be May

Idk. From the way the ingame message sounded, I thought we were going right back to the drawing table and it's only been 2 months since. May is still definitely possible though, however I'm not too optimistic of it.

That was my impression as well. Other than Odin, the May buffs were probably already started when Hood was initially released. My assumption is that they put him to one side until they finish working on the other champs they have started, but I could be wrong. Personally, I’d rather they take their time to make sure everything is properly balanced, and that the new release isn’t full of bugs like the last one.

Still can’t believe they reverted his solid buff to a damn terrible hood again. For what? a 6 sec fate seal. Nah I think they’ve found him too powerful with his invisibility and bullets and hide behind “we respect community” bs.

No one even playing hood since then other than cat murdock. Good job kabam. really.

They reverted Hood 2.0 on March 3. This was the message Miike posted. As for when we'd see Hood 3.0, it'll probably be a bit since they're working on other buffs.

Contrary to what some have stated, there were many who weren't fans of the new bullet system and of course the missing Fate Seal. So we'll see what happens.

Bruh he was so bad with his bullets, you could play him for like 2 matches then run out. He is way better with the fate seal, especially for the champion he is one of the best options

All they need to do is have his bullets refresh every fight or incorporate some way easier way to gain lots of bullets and put his Hex Seal back on SP2 and you got a Beast

I'll be frank, they should avoid designs persistent charges in general until they can keep them working for longer than a month or two with 6 months of downtime.

    It's not worth the risk.

Ah, and yeah, he should keep his unique Hex Seal.

Mixing the invisibilities (120% base, -20% per miss, but with a bottom cap of 90% against projectiles) would make every reasonable person happy. Best of both worlds.

The 'broken' healing genuinely wasn't that great, so I still don't understand the kneejerk reaction when others champs do it so, so much better. It basically just made him more suicide friendly. A bias on my end, but seeing him be more suicide friendly would be super cool as we basically just have Claire if you also want to nullify and mitigate buffs.

And the bullets mechanic? Eh. The main aim should be to stock up bullets to use on a difficult foe, but mechanics that dictate how you combo automatically weaken a champs viability thanks to several nodes and champs. Bleh. I don't even know where to go with this, but Hood definitely could use the damage. Hope they manage, as people will naturally gravitate towards a simple and reliable champ over one that's complicated but does a teensy bit better. Or especially, y'know, worse.

Even with all this, he still wouldn't be Doom or Claire. More on the Sorc Supreme and Tigra(w/Jabroni) level.

TL;DR: Good, you saved yourself some time. No need to read this, as it's just idle musings of an idiot.

It sounded like they were completely redoing Hood's buff, which normally is a minimum of 3 months, often closer to 5. Since they've already done some of the mental work into what they want from a Hood buff, I could see it happening earlier (June or July), but I think Hood 3.0 won't show up til at least July.
