Best use of a shiny new 5-star tech awakening gem?

Currently I have three awakened five-star tech champs: Ghost, Hulkbuster and Darkhawk.
I'm undecided - Guillotine 2099 seems to be the best overall champ out of these 3, but her awakened ability is not as important. Starlord needs to be awakened to be great, but might not have quite as much utility as Guardian. Guardian seems to be a "sig 200" type guy which even if I awaken him I'm not sure he is worth the generic sigs to get up that high. (Low on sig stones since I max sigged Ghost)
What do you think?

Guardian is a little like Venom in that he is the number 1 option (other than quake) for several opponents/nodes. But also there are important synergies as well.
He is a beast - and each stone is an investment. I use mine more than i use G2099 and I only use Ghost and Warlock more from tech
