How does having r5 5* and r2* 6* Nick Furys work on same team?

My 6* r2 Nick Fury was awakened last night and I already have a 5* awakened & maxed NF.

I know that their synergies do not stack, but while both are still alive or either is KO'd, are either one included in the NF team synergies?

Feedback is much appreciated at this is my first day to have 2 duped NFs.

All of Nick fury’s synergies explicitly state ‘all champions/hero champions except Nick’. I guess it doesn’t work on him.

I think he means the part where the synergies say while nick is still alive, and his solo synergy says that the attack value becomes double.
Also, without actually knowing cause I have only a 4* nf, thanks kabam gods btw, my guess would be the 6* has priority to the synergies just how when you press a synergy on a champ it shows the highest rarity synergy partner that you have available.
