Rank up 6* unduped Guardian to rank 2?

Just pulled a 6* Guardian and have very mixed feelings given how much he benefits from being duped. I can take him to rank 2 unduped or take a 5* to rank 5 (Guillotine 2099, Hyperion, CMM, Mole Man, Falcon, Void, all duped). I already have a bunch of 5* taken to rank 5 (Doom, CAIW, Ghost, CGR, NF, Colossus, AA, Mags red, Corvus, Quake). Undecided if I should continue to invest in 5* or try taking 6* up in rank. Any recommendations? Thanks
