My apologies. Its probably right in front of me but i just dont under stand it or see it.

In AQ map 5. You have 2 minibosses both storm X.

The last two games now i am having more trouble against the second miniboss than the first...

Either i got really bad luck. Or im missing something?

But what appears to be happening is the first miniboss when i fight her with corvus i can critical hit here at probably around a 40% rate. Like her ability states

But the second miniboss...
I havent seen a single crit yet in the last two games.

Am i just getting unlucky?
Is there something different?
Or am i just missing something?

Because each time i go against the second miniboss i noodle out

You're wisdom in the matter is greatly appreciated.
Im having trouble wraping my brain around it.

Second storm px has an extra node, being buffet. This is the case for every mini boss.

How is buffet causing corvus's hits to noodle?

Is it random extra node for each BG?

These screen shots are from our other BG that i took after i finally took her down in mine

Buffer node remove charges from corvus and he hit pretty low.
So probably not the best option for her.
    Personally i quake her.

Corvus’ damage comes from his cruelty buffs which come from his charges.
    It’s all in his abilities...

So Corvus's damage comes from cruelty, BUT he also has True Damage/True Strike, which allows his hits to ignore armor, resistance, etc and do a lot more than the average champ. Buffet eats this buff specifically when the fight starts. As such, he still crits and gains the bonuses from cruelty, but he no longer bypasses their defense and resistances, causing hits to be a LOT lower, so his hits ARE still crits, but theyre noodle hits because of that.
