Selling high value items

We cannot sell "high value" items. Why?
I understand champs need to stay so they have a use in the future. That's totally fine.
But what abt my t5b and t2a that have an expiry date on them and an inventory cap?
If they're so "high value", why should they be allowed to expire at all? That defeats any explanation there is to not being able to sell them.
If I'm gonna be losing my resources automatically after a date I'd rather sell it for something else. Makes sense right?
Now that t6b and t3a are slowly making their way into the game makes sense if we could sell said "high value" resources for "higher value" resources.
So in short, I feel either of three things can be done for said "high value" items:
1) Removal of inventory cap
2) Taking away expiry date
3) Enable selling for price

They definitely need to increase the cap on multiple items in inventory but the main reason why you can't sell certain items is because they don't want people to have access to tier 5 class catalyst and tier six basic.

I have a stash full of 6* arena boosts for classes that I don’t have.

A 5* arena boost sells for 50 gold so it’s doubtful a 6* would sell for more than 200… hardly high value.

I’ve asked support in the past why I can’t sell them, and I was told it was because they were end game. Well, that can’t be true because I’m a long way from end game.

It is really weird how 1 one stony mastery core costs like 150 units or something but you sell it for like 3000 golds lol
