If you have a handful of 6-Star, the general opinion is to open basic.

If you have a good feeling on getting a great champ, then go for featured.

Probably depends on how diverse your roster is. If any 6 star that you get now still means a lot, I preferably would say go for basic, since the extra 5k shards have chances to end somewhere disastrous.

I have havok and squirrel girl as my only 6* right now so you’re probably right. Save the 5k

I have 2 6* rn. Squirrel girl and havok should probably save the extra 5k shards right?

It's quite risky then. There is a chance you might get someone and be glad you used the 5k. But at the same time, it has chances to give you the worst and give you terrible regret about using 5k more shards.
