Would Sentinel work for 7.2.5 Rage+Power Shield?

Title says it, the idea is that the 400% power shield damage also improves DoT effects. So, if I threw his SP2 into block, it would not trigger Rage (block absorbs most of the damage), but the strong Incinerates should be applied.

Has anyone tried this yet? Or does anyone know if this would work? If there is something I have clearly missed that makes this impossible, please let me know.

Just try it out that’s the best way of knowing stuff, but yes it works like that

I have almost a remarkable talent to always come out with a seemingly cunning plan and then I go in and realise that I forgot some crucial aspect. That's why I ask before I get slapped in the face.

So update: it worked perfectly, I can highly recommend using this strategy. It takes down fights fairly quickly
