How Does One Achieve “Caged” Status?

I’ve seen several profile pictures on the forum with a cage around their character. Most prominently Caged_Monke. What I want to know is how you get it, and whether or not it’s a good thing.

Are you talking about the bars that appear in front of your avatar's picture...if yes then that is a bad thing and means the user has been jailed and certain restrictions placed on their activities in the forums.

It’s a bad thing. It means you have been warned multiple times and can’t post new threads or multiple posts in a short period of time.

You can get the “jailed” avatar pic by making very sarcastic posts, making non-constructive/negative posts, misleading posts, or posts mods deemed to be violating the TOS, which can be very inconsistent.

For example, calling a certain champion “ugly” could get your post deleted and you can get warned for that. Making “humorous” posts that are NOT true, but meant to garner laughs can get you warned for posting false info.

Really? I didn’t know you could call iBom or Man-Thing gross or something. They look horrific compared to other champs. I mean - I have them both R5 and love them, but they’re not beauty queens, right?

Or is it something else?

It was another champion. Can’t say who though, or my post would get deleted (it has happened before).

I got warning that one of my post was not constructive.. it was a constructive criticism of how a champion was not good.. I believe they deleted my comment.. but I didn't get the behind bars look.. I guess because I don't comment much about champion except.. maybe say it would be great if such champion have this ability or base attack is higher.
