Math question regarding AR and GC masteries

First, sorry for the english spelling, I am danish.
I need help figuring this out.
I have unlocked all levels of Glass Canon and 5 levels of Assassin's Range (very expensive), and I run 5 points in AR.
Let's say I only used 3 points (again, AR is very expensive, so it would brake my heart to only run 3 points), compared to 3 points in GC.
AR gives 30% more attack in 18% of the fight. That's 5.5 part.
GC gives 7.2% attack the whole fight.
That's 5.4% attack the whole fight for AR + the ability reduction to the opponent's.
GC gives 7.2% attack the whole fight but you loose equal health.
If you run level 5 in AR, you will get 9.0% attack the whole fight +ability reduction, but you will have 2 mastery points less and less units.
My question is: Is my calculations right? If not, can someone please help me figure out what is best?

I can't help you with the math because my head is all soggy at the moment, but I can say that I usually just run one point in AR. I don't think the value in those additional points really matters too much until you start doing serious endgame content where the opponents have absolutely massive health pools. I know Seatin swears by it, but eh, I've never really felt like those last 4 points helped me tremendously compared to the other masteries I spend my points on instead.

I currently don't run GC at all either, but if given the choice I would run max GC over max AR any day until I went into something like Abyss of Legends.

I think the question is, would you rather just end the fights quickly in the last 18% of them or have a small boost throughout the fight? I prefer the boost throughout the fight. Again, I still have one point in AR because I think that's worthwhile, but not more.

    Thanks for the answer 👍
