Lol the ai hasn't gotten smarter kabams just making it hold on to it's specials longer, in old aggressive type ai would throw a special with little to no baiting, if u realized or if u have been playing long enough they also made it's recovery time ridiculous the ai would be heavy chained in the corner with no problem nowadays especially with smaller champs it recovers so fast that you can no longer do this, not only this but coupled with the fact that the ai literally can throw special back to back with seemingly no recoil say for instance a vision ark on double power where you cannot (you can bait an sp2 and in that time go in for a punish and IMMEDIATELY get clipped by an sp1 as the player we cannot do that) also a thing to note captain marvel's sp2 has been the same for years but most of the time now when u go in to punish the first attack will wif this was never like this and her animations didn't change, it's not like imiw l1 where it pushes u back kabam has just given the ai a larger opportunity to recover and not the player

Somewhat I guess. In the arenas, they are holding heavy for an extended period of time and as soon as you dash in, they release it. But maybe it's just me... who knows?
Not really. Well, not recently. I always give a laugh of respect when I get backdraft intercepted by an AI.
The AI changed a while back. Definitely have to be more wary, as they have more tricks. Can even reparry your ass. The only change I actively hate is the Stare of Death where even "Hard" AI will just walk at you, unguarded, so they can parry or intercept you faster than humanly possible.
To be perfectly clear, it'd be incredibly easy to make an AI that never loses outside of certain cheese options. Human reaction time is just too slow.
For games with simple inputs, the hard part isn't making the AI difficult to fight, but making it fun to beat.
Ok so with this update it seems that champions recover quicker from getting knocked down.
I was using Ghost in the SQ and was about to do heavy spam in corner after opponent used Special and every time they would recover to quickly. I guarantee you that I am a very experienced Ghost player 😂
Act 7 I suspect has a new ai, if a champ was holding block you used to be able to charge them to push them back, in my observation now they intercept a lot if you try that
