Specials not connecting consistently?

Is anybody else not having specials connect consistently? It seems like the AI is recovering too quickly after a 5 hit combo. I have noticed this more in AW than any other place.

i built 2 power bars with hulk, went into smash mode in AW against one of the mini bosses (dormammu), 5 hit combo, sp2... and... the opponent parry my attack and counter with his own sp3.
in AQ, i had similar problem using voodoo against UC, 5 hit combo, sp2 and he block and counter with 5 hits (instant death).
the game feel worst (at least to me) since v15 and the last patch.
what is really bother me is that no one response to these claims of connecting specials or parry. they release a patch and since than went underground... no one acknowledge or deny any of the issues reported since then.
