HELP The Science class

While in game there will always be a dominant class at times more times than not the science class comes in at the last spot.

All classes have defining features to them and for science, on surface it is that it focuses on debuffs.

But, in reality there is a hidden 'Tax' on the class which is they NEED to be awakened and be at high signture levels as well.

Yes , there are champions in each class that require the mentioned requirements to be great. But most science characters need them just to be functionable. When most Champions of a class require a criteria that the other 5 does not, you know that something is very wrong here.

Another trend we have been seeing is the ever changing cavalier nodes and the list of viable Champions each month.

Now the discussion on these changes is another topic while what may interest you is that while there are about 22-25 champions in the other 5 classes that are viable for the latest nodes, there is a mere 11 champions which are viable for science. Just half of what other 5 classes have . And they are not hard hitting champions unless awakened and high sig.

This is also because of poor node designs such as 'place weakness / power sting or do 90% less damage'. It is high time kabam removed such unreasonable nodes or added solutions to it.

Why? Because about 5 out of 200 champions have power stings. And yes, I am aware of Mr Fantastic synergy, but the mechanic should be much more readily available to be deemed a reasonable node.

Act 7.1 and 7.2 are great examples of how Kabam has been doing excellent in node designs. Challenging different play styles and making players use more champions. But the story is opposite in case of cav EQ.

Again I drift off to cav but the problems with Science champs are prevalent in all modes of the game. They need to remove this inbuilt secret tax on science champions and bring them upto mark with other classes.

This must include buffing more science characters with the intention of making them viable even unduped.

Dupe ability should be an add on and not a requirement for viability of playing. In releasing new science champions make sure such mistakes are not repeated.

And also it may be time to shift the AQ nodes monthly to represent each of the 6 classes and not just mutants. Yes , you like mutants , we all like them. But it is time we shifted focus to those falling behind big time

Thank you.

Who other than Void and CapIW actuallly require the sig to be useful? With most it is just a useful bonus

You do realize the whole reason for the mutant bonus in Alliance Quest is because the bosses are now apocalypse and Professor X?

There actually were two power sting paths with 90% reduction in 7.1 and 7.2
