Arena bug?

Think this is a new one, well a first for me! Casually doing arena, not really paying attention. Went to quakes 3rd but when I came back from animations there are no characters on the screen at all! Just the background and my health slowly running down. Eventually quake appears with victory 
wtf! Anyway, no losses, just weird. I'm having so many bugs, this is the least of my problems just passing on.
