AQ map variants ?

so was looking over details of AQ map 5 again .. and found this link:

it goes on to detail 2 "variants" of Map 5.

I understand what the difference is ... (mostly mini boss nodes, and some changes to champs along the way) .

however, my question is .. how do I know which map we will use when we start up an AQ on Map 5 for the first time?

    Due to the new system, since you're setting AQ up a day in advance, you'll be able to see the Map you'll be facing.
    Before, we only came to know when AQ started

    Thanks .. I was thinking that would be the case .. however, still doesn't answer the question ... which map do you get and why?

    Is it based on alliance prestige?
    Is it an option selected in aq setup?
    Is it just random ?
    .. something else ?

    It's random. Changes every week.
