Just a post to mainly target those saying “air-walker” is trash.

Damage: decent
Utility: good
Sustainability: fantastic

His power cosmic buffs make for great power gain when ramped up, consistently throwing special attacks, which makes up for his seemingly underwhelming damage because of how consistent it is.

He has the ability to spam unblockable special attacks, making for easy access to his DOT source being dark tides, that damage the opponent if they have armor break on them. Its a unique DOT debuff that is countered by few that purify, or are immune to armor breaks. There is also a very nice stun on the sp1 of which you have time to charge heavy far back to throw another sp1. (Great for incursions when stun locking with the 50% stun boost).

His sustainability is great when you throw the sp3, which is easy to reach with his power gain, and dont need to make contact with the opponent to reach it (similar to hyperion) and can rush it by charging heavy which also increases the damage. This grants him a galactus favor buff that grants air-walker an unstoppable buff, that regenerates him by a noticeable amount, and some additional burst damage, making for a more spicy sp2. This procs more than once throughout the fight which makes it such a powerful buff for air-walker. May also take a hit on the block to intercept the opponent (similar to mole man).

Just a little bonus, prestige is pretty good, and awakening isn’t required. All i would add to air-walker is some immunity and a tune up to his dark tides. (Perhaps remove sp3 restriction as well).

    Remove the ramp up and he is solid. With it, he is just not useable.

    I only have a 3*, but honestly he feels solid to play and judging from vids, people hate on him too much. He’s actually really enjoyable imo aswell. I just hate his ramp up.

    His ramp-up is the main problem and his utility is pretty situational, niche and other people can do what he does way better.

    The problem with Air Walker is that his ramp-up invalidates his utility. At his core, his only real utility is armor breaks (which is very common) and dark tide which is only good for some minor passive damage. Most of his utility comes from his sp3. But, because of his ramp up his sp3 is practically useless. You can’t use him for Can’t stop Won’t stop because you never have 2 ramp up fights on those paths and it is the same case for Gimme. This just makes it so he can’t actually be used for any difficult content

    I wanted to say that fully ramped he isn't bad, it's just that his ramp up is just five hit combos doing very little damage. So underwhelming and when the healthpools are 350k on the path and 700k boss fights, he just isn't viable. Then once he is ramped up you throw that special three, your doing good damage, passive unstoppable and darktides build up, but no real utility. You just try to outdamage things with your fairly good damage that takes way too long to ramp up.
