How to use Sunspot?

I've never had even four star version of this guy but recently rolled a 5-star version. I know you hit the opponent and they get a lot of incinerate damage, but how does he actually excel? He seems to be highly ranked on a lot of tier lists, but I have no idea how to use him efficiently.

The incinerates don't do very much damage at all. You do five hit combos. When you have an incinerate on them, you will have perfect parries = extra long stun. Use this stun to charge heavy which will turn incinerates into power and give you flame charges back. Use sp1 to build prowess. When you use sp1 it makes you place more incinerates on opponent with every hit, making your charges drain faster. You don't want your charges to go. Once you have a few prowess launch a huge sp2. If you run out of charges you can get em back with sp3.

He's quite a great champ.
You ideally want to have a few SP1's to increase the Flare states and then throw a big SP2 for damage..
You should make sure to maintain the solar charges too. Purify them by charging heavy, the give you power and its quite useful.
SP3 replenishes these solar charges.

I'm new to sunspot too but from what i observed, the best thing to do is place incinerates and stun opponent. Charge heavy attack to gain power by removing incinerates, and rotate between SP1 and SP3 to maintain solar flares (which is thr biggest pain).After a decent number, usually 4-5 of them, drop that sp2 to hit like a truck
