Tier 3 Catalyst inventory limit

So I was looking at my Tigra who is an R3 (highly recommend), and noticed that you will need 3 Tier 3 Alphas in order to bring her to rank 4.

Now I don’t even have 1, and I’m a loooooong way away from R4ing (is that a new verb?) a 6* champ, but when I went to check how many Tier 3 alpha shards I had from completing Gauntlet and Carina, I noticed that you can only have 2 Tier 3 catalysts max. A third will go into your stash?

Now we’re a long ways away from getting a third let alone a first, but given that you need 3, what if you don’t get the tier 6 basic you need and it all goes into stash and expires?

If there’s something I missed please let me know - but it’s a glimpse into what could be problematic in the future for many of us.

The devs will know what amount they are releasing into the game. When the time comes, they will either increase the limit based on another progression title, or decrease the amount to rank up the champ so that you can claim the stash after ranking up a champ. They will increase limit whenever they need to as the capacity has never been tied to progression but with levels but since they stopped levels they upped it at times when needed or remove 1 required of the catalyst so be 2 t3a and 3 t6b

Well, Kabam knows exactly how much of the catalysts they've allowed into the game so far. They'll also increase the limit when they're ready to which for all we know will be in the next update.

We know for a fact that Kabam has raised the catalyst limits in the past so it is a safe bet to assume they would do it again. Besides there's no need for anyone to panic until Kabam have released enough T3A for it to actually go into the overflow, which again Kabam knows exactly how many frags they've released in total so far.

I have no idea regarding sigil since I don't buy that. But, it was a guess because we have had people not hitting lvl 60 getting to TB because if sigil.

I’m making a point. I don’t pretend to know what the CCP or developers are doing. Im merely pointing out a discrepancy. Of course they’ll change it, but I’m pointing it out. Im not apologizing or making excuses for Kabam. The way it is doesn’t line up, for now. All I know is what exists, not what could potentially exist. You even said “get the Sigil” but were correct there. Am I to believe that other assumptions are correct.

I can get some of what OP trying to say. And I can agree to some extent.

But we have to keep in mind that Devs ACTUALLY KNOW HOW MUCH OF THAT T6CC AMD T6BC they have released so far. So when times comes When there will be a practical situation where someone or atleast 1 person in whole mcoc will have enough material to r4 someone as soon last bit of frag for t6 will release( deal or content whatever it may).
So far it haven't enough for 1(maybe it has). So for 3 T6 Cats to come It can actually take a year.

Now it gives a situation which is based upon current state and ROADMAP WE GOT

Devs said that New mastery will be available. So either we will get by them default or have to earn by Leveling ( assuming new level will be introduced). And Inventory Cap have been always tied to exp levels( untill sigil came). We can get simply Level upgrades to raise inventory cap .
OR
When times comes they will increase the Current inventory Cap to the required point.

Only problem I see that I don't want to see Paywall for inventory. As it will upset most of the F2P end gamers( here I mean sigil). Tho sigil actually can help to r4 6 stars on low exp levels as I to do for t5cc now.

I think they need to announce their intention sooner rather than later.

For example, if they decide to reduce the requirement to 1 t6b and there is half a t6b in an offer, this is now more valuable than the current situation.

Don't see why though. They could have a time line that people can r4 t champs only after july 4 or something like that. We are assuming that they will reduce the amount. But from the offers releasing, it looks like it may actually be 3 and we may get an inventory increase sooner than later.
